Opting to become a truck driver is a circumstantial bargain. They have limited support systems to lead a dignified profession and livelihood. Their cognitive health therefore takes a hit. They are time pressed and mentally stressed with little to no sleep. The work under harsh conditions and with a society that shows not respect, but contempt. This project opened up an opportunity to equip professionals and practitioners in including drivers' internal and external decision making context whilst designing in-cabin tech and non-tech interventions.
